Flying as it should be

For those of you who have thought it would be nice to be in an old bi-plane; Why not give it a try. We payed a visit to Shoreham Airfield, near Brighton, to see what you can do with a flying school who has a collection of early aircraft.

The Real Flying Company were our hosts, and agreed to take Ray (Kieren's father) for a spin around the sky above the coast. While this can just be a 'joy ride' it is common for the pilot/instructor to let patrons take the stick and find out what it is like to be in control of one of these heritage beasts.
