Partying Like It's 1948
We took our annual jaunt up to Weybridge for the 1940s Relived event at Brooklands Museum. This year the focus was on the post-war years, with the recreation of the 1948 London Motor Show. Originally held at Earls Court, the show was the first of it's kind to be held since the advent of WW2.
There were dance classes, re-enactments, shopping stalls and more. This year also featured the newly launched Palais de Danse, which was also the venue for the Best Dressed competitions.
We caught up with some of the visitors of the event, and interviewed Mr Best Dressed himself on the origins of his prize-winning attire.
