The Cats' Meow - Christmas Party

We were lucky enough to attend The Cats' Meow Christmas party at Guy's Bar, near London Bridge. The night, hosted by Clair and Robert of London Swing Cats, was packed full of dancers - and at least one gold Lamé suit! We chatted to Robert all about the up-coming Hep Cats' Holiday (we'll see you there!) and Claire spoke to us about the difference between Hollywood and Savoy swing.

Live music was provided by the vocal harmony trio, The Inteli-gents with Jumpin' Jim and Voodoo Doll spinning the platters though out the night. The night also saw the launch of Lolly Doll Clothing, and we spoke to Lolly about her range of repro ladies clothing. We look forward to seeing the London Swing Cats in March at the Hep Cats' Holiday, but until then, they have classes running throughout the week in London and the Cats' Meow runs every month.
